Buttermilk populary known as ‘Chaas’ is one delectable drink that is not only nutritious but also helps you cool down on a summer afternoon. From being a part of Indian vegetarian thali to an appetizer this drink is a great energy booster for those on a weight loss diet. Buttermilk is known to have the good bacteria that aid in digestion. It also provides a healthy dose of Vitamin B12 which helps prevent anaemia.

Ingredients

2-3 tsp fresh yogurt

1 cup water

1 pinch salt

1/2 pinch Black cumin (jeera) seeds

1/4 inch of ginger

3-4 pudina leaves

Some coriander to garnish
