Karuna Waghmare Gets 6th Place At Amateur Olympia 2015 Hong Kong

Indian Female Bodybuilding Athlete Karauna Waghmare managed to get sixth place at the Amateur Olympia 2015. She was competing under Female Physique Fitness category. However this is not the complete story, If you see the picture below taken during the selection for Amateur Olympia on 11 Oct 2015, you can see karuna in track pant and t-shirt.

This is because she was suffering from typhoid and stomach infection. In spite of this IFFBB Head and AFBF General Secretary Mr Sanjay More showed confidence in her and backed karuna to compete in the event. Her treatment completed on 8th November after which she started to prepare vigorously for the competition. And now she has won a place in the Amateur Olympia event.

Considering the fact that Karuna got only 2 weeks to prepare for the competition after her illness, She has performed amazingly to bag the 6th Place. Team Indian Bodybuilding is proud of her performance and wish her althe best in her future competitions.
