55th ABBF Championship 2023

The 55th Asian Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Championships and Electoral Congress is aimed to be one of the greatest event in the history of Asian Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Federation. The event is organized by Nepal Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation under the auspices of Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation and sanctioned by World Body Building and Physique Sports Championship from 1st to 7th September in Kathmandu, Nepal.

This continental championships with a participation of more than 30 countries includes 400 athletes and 200 officials is supposed to be the biggest sporting fitness event in the country that will be hosted by Nepal Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (NBBF).

NBBF will provide five star accommodation to all the officials and athletes participating in the event. The event is supported by Nepal Sports Council. Rajesh Baba Shrestha, who is the organizing chairman of the event has played a vital role in development of bodybuilding and physique sports in Nepal and throughout the world.

The arrival of all the participants and officials, judges is expected to be on 1st sept. The pre-judging and finals for various categories shall begin 4th Sept onwards. Indian team under IBBF participated in the 55th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships at Kathmandu, Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal on and from 1st – 7th September 2023. We appreciate the huge efforts from Indian team and the laurels they have brought to the nation.

TEAM INDIA WINS 7 Medal on Day 1 of Asian Body Building and Physique Sports Championship, Kathmandu, Nepal.
Gold medals: 4

  • Narender Yadav – Junior body building upto 75 kg
  • Raju khan – Mens body building 65 kg
  • Amit Bhuyan- Mens body building 70 kg
  • Peter Joseph- Master Mens Bodybuilding over 60 years

Silver Medal : 1

  • Anil Kumar – Junior Bodybuilding over 75 kg

  • Subhash Pujari – Men’s Master Body Building 40-49 years
  • Jayaraman Shanmugam – Mens Master Body Building over 60 years
