Shankar is known to have directed high budget films in Tamil. His debut movie was Gentlemen (1993). The movie \u2018I\u2019 has Vikram (as Lingeswaran) and Amy Jackson (as Diya) in lead roles, with Upen Patel and Suresh Gopi in supporting roles. Vikram has spent about 2 years working for making of the movie. Music of the movie is composed by A. R. Rahman. The filming of the movie lasted for duration of about 2 years and 8 months whereas the shoots were majorly done in China.<\/p>\n<p>In the movie, Vikram has played the character role of Lingeswaran, who considers Arnold Schwarzenegger as a role model with his sole aim and purpose in life to win the title of Mr. Tamil Nadu. Director Shanmugam Shankar has creatively crafted the hair style of Vikram to match with the look of younger Arnold Schwarzenegger by taking the front curl look.<br \/>\n<div class=\"e3lan e3lan-in-post2\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\r\n<!-- Below Header -->\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:inline-block;width:728px;height:90px\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3247500487073208\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"5121188972\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><\/div>\nWhereas, Amy Jackson has played the character role of a model. \u2018We wanted someone with the look of an actual model\u2019, says Shankar as a reason for casting Amy for the role.<\/p>\n<p>The movie has a huge budget of about Rs. 1.85 billion, which makes it the costliest Indian movie till date. The movie is all set to release during this Diwali in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Arnold also met Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalitha on Monday afternoon before heading for the audio launch of I.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.indianbodybuilding.co.in\/Articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/15arnold1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-626 aligncenter\" alt=\"Arnold Schwarzenegger with Jayalalita\" src=\"https:\/\/www.indianbodybuilding.co.in\/Articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/15arnold1.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"496\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.indianbodybuilding.co.in\/Articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/15arnold1.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.indianbodybuilding.co.in\/Articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/15arnold1-300x248.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After the meet, Arnold posed for photographs however did not comment on his meeting with Jayalalitha and instead headed right away for the music launch. A couple of hours after the meeting, he posted his photos with her on Instagram account saying it was indeed fantastic to meet her and have a conversation about state\u2019s success and upcoming challenges and that is the advantage of being not only an actor but also a Governor. Arnold was the 38<sup>th<\/sup> Governor of California and served two terms from year 2003 until year 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Arnold had also scheduled a meet with the Tamil top star Rajnikanth at the music audio launch. Rahman performed live songs during the launch of the album and was supported by dancers with actual movie costumes. The entire show was planned for about two and a half hours.<\/p>\n<p>Arnold was also accompanied by the British comedian and actor Stephen Fry, while in Chennai.<\/p>\n<p>While talking about Shankar, the director of movie I, Arnold said Shankar comes up with superb special effects in his movies and that he would love to work with him someday soon, in an interview Arnold gave.<\/p>\n<p>Arnold posted on instagram before he headed for attending the audio launch \u201cHow do you overcome the jet lag?
