BodyBuilder Suhas Khamkar Caught Red Handed taking bribe of Rs 50000

India’s most popular bodybuilder Suhas Khamkar has been caught red handed accepting a bribe of Rs. 50,000. Raigad Anti Corruption bureau is involved in investigation of the matter. Suhas Khamkar has been working as the Tahsildar of Panvel, Navi Mumbai.

Suhas Khamkar along with his associate Mr. Ganesh had made a demand of Rs. 60,000 as bribery for clearing a land deal. Eventually a mutual agreement for Rs. 50,000 was made subsequent to which the victim lodged a complaint with Raigad anti corruption bureau. The bureau conducted a sting operation on 4th August and caught Suhas Khamkar and his associates red handed accepting the bribe money.

Suhas Khamkar has won the title of Mr. India 9 times, 2 times Mr. Asia, one in year 2014. He has also won the title of Mr. Maharashtra 3 times consecutively. He has also been hounoured with the Chattrapati award by Maharashtra Government.

Suhas Khamkar is a very popular Indian body builder with a huge fan following. He is also a role model for many youths in India who look upto him for inspiration. This news will definitely come as a huge disappointment to his fan followers across India.

He has also represented India in several international body building events, the incident is supposed to not only tarnish him image but will also bring dishonor to the sport of body building in India.

There has also been news that Maharashtra Government would take back the Chattrapati Award from Suhas due to the incident.
